• Membership is open to all Keele staff and students and NHS staff working in North Staffordshire.

• As a joint library, members can make use of many of the resources available to either NHS or Higher Education.

• The Outreach Service provides links for NHS staff working in the PCTs and Combined Health Care Trust.

• The library supports continuing professional development, research and evidence based practice.

• Training courses are available to improve your search skills, information evaluation, reference management and current awareness.

• Friendly library staff are available to assist with information queries.

The Health Library is a Helicon Level 3 accredited library. The accreditation, carried out in accordance with the NHS Library and Knowledge Development Network found that the Health Library demonstrated significant evidence of excellence and innovation.
