Find A Reference In Philosophy And Ethics

Reference databases (sometimes also called "citation" or "abstract" databases) can help you find additional readings and are particularly good if you want to search widely for papers. This is particularly useful if you're doing a literature review for a dissertation.

Citation databases don't contain the full text of anything, however clicking on the @Keele logo will search our e-journals and provide a link to the whole paper if it's available, or direct you to where a paper copy may be found in the Library's print journal collection.

The following are our main citation databases:

ProQuest
provides a large number of bibliographic databases, including the Philosopher's Index. There's links given to full-text sources and to entries in Keele's online catalogue, and it also works well in tandem with Refworks. Your Keele user log-in is needed for off-campus use.
