Our research aims to contribute towards preventing musculoskeletal conditions from starting, getting worse or causing long-term disability in later life. These conditions are researched using a range of traditional and innovative approaches and methods. Our research is able to encompass a range of perspectives, focussing on healthcare professionals, including clinical and health psychology, general practice, nursing and Allied Healthcare Professions (pharmacy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy), and rheumatology. Research is also carried out into healthcare professional education and training.  Students work as part of active research teams to fulfil the data collection and data management requirements of their research project.
