Welcome
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your children to Keele University Day Nursery. Our purpose built state of the art facilities are set within their own secure grounds on the beautiful Keele campus and offer a rich and stimulating learning environment in which children are safe, happy and cared for.
Of course a Nursery is so much more than a building and whilst our facilities are second to none, it’s our vibrant community of staff, children, parents and carers that make the Nursery such a wonderful place.
Our staff work together to provide the highest standards of care and education. Each member of staff holds a professional childcare qualification and is encouraged and supported to continue their professional development and to share their learning within the wider team. Our ever developing relationships with academic colleagues mean that we are able to keep abreast of developments within early years education.

As part of a thriving Higher Education establishment we are committed to supporting children to enjoy the very best start to their lifelong learning. We recognise that the first steps in this learning journey are exciting if sometimes a little daunting and our team of dedicated, caring and professional staff are key to supporting and guiding your child through their busy and fun filled days.
I hope this brochure will give you a flavour of what we offer at Keele University Day Nursery. Our aim is to help children to develop as individuals by delivering a broad educational experience and by working closely with parents to enhance the wellbeing and potential of each and every child. If you would like to see this for yourself we would be delighted to show you around, to answer your questions, to introduce you to our staff and to talk about how we can support your child in taking those first important steps on their learning adventure.
Managers, leaders and staff share an ambitious vision for the children. Staff attend regular training and are fully included in the development of all systems throughout the setting...this has a positive impact on the children’s care, learning and development.
