• Department of Occupational Health and Safety

Ian Williamson is the Head of the Department of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS) and is responsible for a multidisciplinary team of experts providing health and safety advice and support to the University. The Department comprises:

	Health and Safety Co-ordinates the monitoring of health and safety risk management in the University and provides advice on general health and safety issues including VDU workstations, fire, radiation and biological safety.
	Occupational Health Service Provides health surveillance, self and management referrals and health promotions for staff and students.
	Staff Counselling All Keele University staff can access the University Hospital North Staffordshire's Staff Counselling Service which offers a confidential, face to face service with qualified and experienced counsellors.
