I chose Keele University because, well, it's beautiful here. The campus is equipped with fantastic facilities, such as gaming labs, VR setups, and robots, which greatly fascinated me. At Keele University, we offer a unique perspective on computer science. We aim to strike a balance, providing you with preparation that isn't solely focused on theory or application. This approach sets us apart from other universities. Everyone in our school is a researcher, creating a thriving research environment. Our community is diverse in terms of gender, background, and scientific expertise.
Keele has established connections with various industries and companies, offering students placement opportunities to collaborate and gain real-world experience.
Our careers department is dedicated to preparing you for employment. They assist with crafting CVs and cover letters, researching companies, and conducting mock interviews. I personally used their services to secure my first job as a sustainability advisor for a local company in Stoke.
At Keele, we have the Overclocks Lab, a spacious gaming lab equipped with high-end gaming computers. We also have Lego robots, VR systems, and various computer labs. Our campus is not only beautiful but fosters a sense of community, making it an appealing choice.
