Officers of the KPA

The KRA was founded in 1961 and moved from its original common room on the second floor of Keele Hall to the cellar of Keele Hall ("the Gun Room") and finally as the KPA in its own Clubhouse ("the Kipper") by Horwood in 1994.

It is not known for certain when the KRA was renamed the KPA.

"I know for a fact at the end of Matthew Hockings' period it was still called the KRA (there is indeed a photograph of the oar ceremony taken at the end of Hockings period of them standing outside a sign that says Keele Research Association). I'm not sure when the name did change but I know it had by 2005. I swear I read somewhere it was Viae-Chancellor Janet Finch's idea to change the name, but I'm not certain."

Committee terms as of 2018 run from July until June the following year, but in the late 1980s the terms were from March until March the following year. We are unsure of when this changed or whether there were different terms at other times.
