Course overview
Is your imagination captured by the literature of the Renaissance and the Victorians, or the opportunity to know more about postcolonialism or postmodernism? Are you interested to learn about the key philosophical problems in relation to the nature of the world, the mind and various solutions proposed? English Literature and Philosophy at Keele allows you to explore central questions about language, thought and the expression of ideas. You will trace the history of human thought about important questions concerning knowledge, the mind and the world in the traditions of Europe, India and China.
