Alternative qualifications accepted for 2022 entry to Pharmacy with the Foundation Year

DMM in a Applied Science OR DDM in a non Applied Science GCSE Maths and English language at a minimum of grade 4 (C)
Access to HE Diploma

Obtain Access to HE Diploma with 96 UCAS Tariff points including a minimum of 15 L3 credits at Distinction for applicants with 30 L3 credits of Biology and/or Chemistry. Please contact School of Pharmacy and Bioengineering for advice on pharmacy@keele.ac.uk or Obtain Access to HE Diploma with 122 UCAS Tariff points including a minimum of 30 L3 credits at Distinction for applicants without 30 L3 credits of Biology and/or Chemistry.

International/EU candidates   Candidates whose first language is not English will need IELTS 7.0 with 6.5 in all subtests or GCSE English Language at 4 (C) or above.
International Baccalaureate Diploma IB 27 to include Higher Level Chemistry or Biololgy at grade 5 or IB 30 if no Higher Level Chemistry or Biology has been studied   We do accept some English Language elements of the IB Diploma in lieu of GCSE English Language. Please contact us for advice.
