Women's Health Group
The School of Nursing and Midwifery (SNaM) Women's Health research group welcomes academics, healthcare professionals and users and carers.
Chair: Professor June Keeling
We support and encourage research with a number of activities across the School. The School organizes a monthly scholarship series which includes clinical practice initiatives and local, national and international speakers around a variety of topics including methodology, translational research, writing for publication, ethical considerations and personal experiences of undertaking and successfully acquiring a PhD.
The seminars are usually the first Wednesday of each month (excluding January), 1.30-4pm, attendance is free, no prior booking is required, and these seminars are open to anyone across the university, local trusts, private organizations and charities. To check out previous presentations, and to view our current programme please visit our Seminar Programme.
