Dr Ella Maysami
I have experience in clinical research (prospective) and translational neuroscience (drug discovery) where two of my postdoctoral works have now completed phase-II clinical trials towards the treatment of stroke and schizophrenia (Manchester, UK 2018 & 2019 respectively).
My interest is in regeneration and repair, models of disease in neuroscience, neuroinflammation, companion diagnostic biomarkers, clinical/case studies, population health studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis.
I accept self-funded PhD students, and you may approach my office via email to share your CV and discuss research projects. There might be other (charity, organisational etc.) funding available for strong candidates to apply.
