Our MPharm programmes are recognised by the Regulators and licensing bodies in many countries, enabling you to study here at Keele and complete the necessary stages of registration in the country or region in which you intend to practice. Each registration body has different requirements, and this varies from country to country, and between states, so we recommend you check with the appropriate body whether our course is recognised, and the steps required to register or gain a license to practice as a pharmacist before applying.

For those applicants with an interest in the development of medicines or cosmetics and the workings of the pharmaceutical industry, we offer a BSc in Pharmaceutical Science with Busines. This programme will give you the skills and knowledge to succeed in the pharmaceutical industry, and these can be transferred to other areas such as quality assurance, biotechnology or food manufacturing. The programme involves laboratory sessions to help you develop your practical skills, as well as business modules to help develop your understanding of pharmaceutical companies, and in your final year of study, you will complete a research project under the supervision of one of our expert academics. In your first year of study, you will have the opportunity to learn a new language, preparing you for opportunities worldwide, not just in the UK.
