We welcome applications for the MBChB in Medicine from well qualified applicants from overseas. At Keele we offer you an outstanding combination of a distinctive curriculum, excellent educational and clinical resources, and a friendly and safe environment where staff and patients are keen to help you learn.
We consider applications from EU and non-EU students for the five-year medicine MBChB degree (A100). We usually receive about 200 international applications each year. EU applicants are currently considered along with UK candidates. To find out if you are eligible to apply see our international entry requirements pages.
Keele University as a whole receives between 800 and 1,000 international students each year, of around 100 different nationalities. You can speak to an International Student Support Officer at any time if you need any help before or after you arrive. A student mentor can be allocated to you before you get here, to help you settle in to Keele life, so try to make sure you request this as it usually turns out to be really helpful. If you’re an international student on the medicine degree course, you’ll be personally invited to a reception early in the course where you can meet the School of Medicine student support team and other international students who are already studying medicine here.
