The Careers and Employability service can help Keele graduates prepare for employment.

As a graduate you can make appointments with our Careers Consultants, gain access to hundreds of resources and attend free workshops and event sessions for up to 3 years after you graduate.

The Office for Students has produced a guide for students who are about to graduate and are at the start of their career journey. Created with 2021 graduates in mind the OfS Graduate employment and skills guide can be accessed online here.

The Keele Careers and Employability Team are also offering graduates the opportunity to attend the Career Accelerator Programme - an initiative to support you with your transition from Keele University into graduate level employment:

Getting logged in:

To get access to Keele Careers Online as a graduate simply select the 'Alumni' button on the login page and provide your date of birth and student ID to verify your identity.

To login to CareerHub, you may need to reset your password. Your user name is the same as your old Keele IT username (the first bit of your old keele email address, made up of numbers and letters). To reset your password, follow the login help/forgotten password option, or by contacting the Careers Admin Team (01782733523) to have a password reset email sent to you. This will go to the alternative, non-Keele email address you supplied to Keele on e-vision before you graduated. You can also provide us with a new email address to be added to your account by giving us a call to request this. You will then be able to login as usual, giving you access to everything offered by the Careers and Employability Team for the next 3 years!

Once you have your new log in details there are many resources available to you.
Here's a handy ladder of tasks to get you started.

  1. Career Hub is the place to go if you would like to book an appointment, attend a training workshop or search for job opportunities employers. It also has a fantastic resources section and an Employer search engine, making researching companies easy and time efficient.

  2. Keele Careers Online is your next stop when needing practice resources. It has a CV Builder, interview simulator and lots of practice tests- giving you a superb foundation to prepare for working life.   3. Attend our Events. Throughout the year we have many events- from advice sessions- to opportunities to meet employers face to face. These events are always very much in demand so we advise you get ahead of the crowd and book on using your new Career Hub log in details

The student services organisation AMOSSHE, in conjunction with Unite Students, have developed a resource of resilience and wellbeing articles designed to help students cope with the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.
NextStepSupport.org is an open collaboration between a number of organisations that provide support and services to students and recent graduates.

Graduate Outcomes Survey

The Graduate Outcomes survey is a vital tool when helping future students consider potential career options, through resources including unistats.ac.uk. All universities are required to support the survey, which is owned by the Higher Education Statistics Agency.

You will receive an email from keeleuniversity@graduateoutcomes.ac.uk

Your contact details will be used for the purposes of the survey on the grounds of public interest under the General Data Protection Regulation, as explained in HESA’s student collection notice.
