Prunus 'Tom'

An open field pollinated seedling of Prunus nipponica v. kurilensis, of which the other parent is P. conradinae (now P. hirtipes), selected by Benoit Choteau at Pépinières Choteau in Bray, Southern Belgium and named for his grandson.

This is a superb early flowering upright tree with abundant large pinkish-white flowers. Now becoming available commercially.
