Sato-zakura Group
Selected and raised by Mr Masatoshi Asari in Matsumae at the southern tip of Hokkaido, Northern Japan in 1970 from crossing P. ‘Kokonoe’ with P.’Izakayama’.
Pale pink medium to large sized semi-double flowers, mid-season. Young foliage is bronze-coloured.

- One by boundary wall opposite the Golf Club; square N2; tag 4120. Planted in 2009.
