Raised/selected by Masatoshi Asari in Hokkaido, Northern Japan. Medium-sized, single, pale pink flowers, becoming whitish with a purple eye, flowering early. With time forms a vigorous large spreading tree.
Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit 2012.
