Prunus leveilliana (ex Hillier Arboretum)
syn. Prunus verecunda (ex Hillier Arboretum)
Similar to Prunus jamasakura but late flowering. Grows wild in Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikuku, Kyushu, etc. Single flowers, 2 – 4 per corymb, c. 2” dia, white or light red.

- One between Church Plantation and running track; tag 4073, square G6-H6, planted 2008.
