Sato-zakura Group
Selected and raised by Mr Masatoshi Asari in Matsumae at the southern tip of Hokkaido, Northern Japan from hybridizing Prunus x yedoensis ‘Somei-yoshino’ and Prunus ‘Oshima-zakura’.
Blush-white medium-sized semi-double flowers, early to mid-season. Young foliage is bronze-coloured.
