Selected and grown by M. André Charlier at the Arboretum Rond Chêne in E. Belgium.
This recent Belgian-bred cherry is named after the heroine of Richard Wagner’s opera ‘Die Meistersinger von Nurnburg’. Reputedly a good grower which has not yet flowered in the UK (Lane 2019).
