Prunus 'Beatrice'

A seedling of P. nipponica v. kurilensis, possibly crossed with P. ‘Pandora’, selected by Benoit Choteau at Pépinières Choteau, Bray in Southern Belgium and named for his wife.

An early flowering cultivar with medium-sized single to semi-double pink flowers fading to white with dark crimson sepals. Flowers appear before the leaves. It forms an upright vase-shaped tree.
