PAT testing
PAT Testing is the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. Most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination, but some types of defect can only be found by testing.
All electrical items must be PAT tested; to help you make sure your belongings meet our Terms and Conditions, we provide free PAT testing sessions at the start of each semester. We normally email students within a month of arrivals to notify them of the dates for the PAT testing sessions.
