Keele University is sad to report the passing of Professor John Bale, who has died aged 83.

We are saddened to announce the passing of Dr Christopher Wakeling OBE.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emeritus Professor Peter Dickinson at the age of 88 on 16th June 2023, after a short period of serious illness in hospital. 

The University is sad to report the passing of Professor Martin Harrison, who joined Keele as Professor and Head of the Department of Politics in 1966, when he was just 36 years old.

Professor Werbner taught Sociology and Anthropology at Keele for 17 years from 1993 to 2010, and passed away on 17th December 2022, aged 78.
