Keele Top 3 in England for Politics
Keele has been ranked in the Top 3 universities in England to study politics in the Guardian University Guide 2020 behind only Cambridge and Oxford.
Politics, including international relations, received an impressive 95.7% score for student satisfaction with teaching, and 97% for student satisfaction with course.
Overall, Keele climbed to 32nd place in the table, the University’s highest ever ranking, and has also seen three other subjects achieve UK Top 10 status:
Medicine (3rd)
Nursing & Midwifery (6th)
Pharmacy & Pharmacology (10th)
Professor Robert Ladrech, Head of the School of Politics, International Relations, Philosophy and Environment, said:
“This is fantastic news for the school. We've always been proud to challenge our students with Politics and International Relations programmes that help them to develop their analytical and research skills, but to earn recognition for that at the national level is enormously pleasing. Our staff are phenomenally dedicated, and this is some acknowledgement of the efforts they put into sharing their expertise and enthusiasm with students, and the way they help students to really engage fully with a complex and fast-moving world.”
