Be part of the Keele Difference

Gifts of time and money create opportunities for our students, enhance the research undertaken by our graduates, academics and partners, provide essential funding for new facilities and ultimately lead to significant positive impacts on the local community and beyond.

Keele has a proud history of philanthropy - the desire to promote the welfare of others - since its inception as the University College of North Staffordshire in 1949.

Giving, whether to support our students with bursaries or scholarships, advance Keele’s academic research or enhance our impact locally, nationally and internationally, enriches Keele’s well established and deserved reputation as a leader in Higher Education.

Gifts of time and money, large and small, are equally valuable and valued. Together we are Keele. Together we make the difference.

Giving to Keele supports our strategic mission; to provide a high quality educational experience for students shaped by outstanding research, contributing positively to social, environmental and economic challenges and agendas locally, nationally and internationally.

Our organisational priorities are to focus on the areas of global health, social inclusion and sustainability, and to contribute significantly to these pressing challenges of our time. This is the Keele Difference.

Student support

Student support remains a priority, particularly for many of the wider Keele family. We're helping to resolve issues of access for students, enhancing support whilst studying and developing activities to enhance employability.

Keele is helping to change the world for the better by engaging in cutting-edge research. We’re tackling some of society’s most urgent problems. We’re really proud that 80% of our research is deemed world-leading or internationally excellent, in the REF 2021.

Equally valued gifts are those of time. Keele benefits greatly from the support of volunteers around the world who champion Keele values of equality of educational opportunity and the transformative capacity of education for individuals, communities and society.
