Gentle night, radiant light

Join Keele Bach Choir for their summer concert 'Gentle night, radiant light' in the beautiful surroundings of Keele University Chapel. One of the premier North Midlands chamber singing groups the Bach Choir draws its members from both the local area and beyond and are based at Keele University.

All music for this concert is related to light in different manifestations, from stars and bodies celestial to sunrise and sunset.

Featuring music ancient and modern. Two pieces from new books, Multitude of Voyces (an anthology of works by women composers) and a piece accompanied by tuned wine glasses, by the Latvian composer Eriks Esenvalds.

Compositions (provisional) by:
Amy Beach, Rani Arbo, Ola Gjeilo, Eric Whitacre, John Rutter, Eriks Esenvalds, James Macmillan, Thomas Tallis, Charles Wood, John Sheppard, a Gregorian chant and some plainsong.

A wonderful mixture! Come along for what promises to be a very enjoyable entertaining evening.
