Three Counties Open Art 2019 Exhibition

Burslem School of Art

Following its huge success last years exhibition, the Three Counties Open Art Exhibition will return this summer at the Burslem School of Art for its third year.  Over 230 pieces of work are on display from over 100 artists based in Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. With selected artists winning a range of prestigious awards including the Arthur Berry Award for excellence. Judges this year included contemporary art historian John Glaves-Smith, Romy Cheeseman on behalf of the New Vic Theatre for the Arthur Berry Award, Kerry Jones and Deb Skinner from Keele University, Amanda Bromley from local art gallery Barewall and representatives from the City Learning Trust and The Art Studio.

Visitors are welcome to experience adiditonal exhibitions which will be taking place at the same time in the building including 'The Age of Clay' a series of work by Cyril Tilstone and special displays of work by Burslem Community Art Group and Smallthorne Primary School. 

The Exhibition will run from: 
Saturday 27 July - 26 August 2019.
Burslem School of Art will be open to the public on Tuesdays-Saturdays: 11am-3pm + Monday 26 August (Bank Holiday) 12-4pm

The exhibition has been arranged by Keele University in Partnership with the City Learning Trust, Burslem School of Art and Barewall Gallery.
