All Alumni are invited to join us on campus or online for a worldwide celebration of all things Keele

Tours and events on the day

We will have minibus tours available also and shuttle transport to various campus locations throughout the day, booking is not required. Further details will be announced as they are confirmed.

Between 11am – 1pm guests will be able to explore our newly opened Low Carbon Energy Generation Park and ask questions! The park generates up to 50% of campus electricity from renewable sources, marking an important milestone in Keele's journey to become carbon neutral by 2030.

Between 1-3pm the Keele Observatory will be open for all to enjoy. View celestial objects through the 148-year-old 31cm Grubb refractor or 15cm solar telescope.

The 'Celebration of Light' Concert 7.30pm Keele University Chapel. This concert is related to light in different manifestations, from stars and bodies celestial to sunrise and sunset.

Exploring campus on the day

You can explore the campus and its grounds at your own leisure with a number of buildings old and new having open access during the day

  • The SU will be open 11am-5pm during Keele Day
  • The Union Kitchen will be open on the ground floor of the Students’ Union selling Starbucks coffee, cold drinks, and Traditional Staffordshire Oatcakes.
  • The Union shop will be open selling the latest range of official Keele clothing, merchandise, and souvenirs.
  • The Squirrel Bar will open (time TBC), selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks – at amazing student prices!

Visit the Raven Mason Collection and University Archives- One of the treasures of the University, this fascinating ceramics collection is displayed in the graceful surroundings of Keele Hall. It was lovingly created by brothers Ronald William and John Mason Raven. Discover more

Keele Vet School

Keele Vet School

Harper and Keele Veterinary School launched in 2020 with our first cohort of students. Combining the extensive resources and excellence in teaching at Harper Adams and Keele universities, has created a unique environment for the Vet School to grow and thrive. The state-of-the-art new building provides a home for the Harper and Keele Veterinary School – a joint venture, on Keele’s campus.  Come and take a look around between 11am-1pm.

Take a tour of our Forensic Science Crime House with Dr Dave Thompson, as he explains how Forensic Scientists approach a crime scene.

Having a crime scene house allows us to provide context to our teaching and gives you experience in a typical environment encountered by a forensic scientist.

Smart Innovation Hub

There are currently six Innovation Centres located at Keele University Science & Innovation Park, with plans for more. Feel free to explore our IC6 / Smart Innovation Hub, located at the heart of Keele University's Business School, and have the opportunity to look around the collaborative workspaces that stimulate business and innovation development. Take a virtual tour before you arrive here.

Take a self-guided tour 

On our heritage and arboretum tours, you may spot our recently developed wildlife hide, funded by our alumni as part of the Keele Key Fund. The 'Hide and Seek' wildlife hide aims to provide shelter from which to view a variety of animals inhabiting the area. The hide is located between the old pumphouse and the weir within woodland situated in the grounds of Keele Hall.


The KPA will be open for food and drinks throughout the day, and we are excited to welcome alumni for an evening of 'Through The Ages', until late.
