Pre-arrival event for off campus students

If you will be joining us at Keele and living off-campus, then you are invited to attend a pre-arrival event to help support your transition to life as a Keele student. This event will take place before the start of the academic year and is an opportunity for off campus students to meet each other, get to know their way around Keele University, and take part in various sessions and activities aimed at making the transition to university as a student living off campus a smoother process. Please see the following frequently asked questions and click on the event button below to sign up to the event.

WEDNESDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER

Please note that the pre-arrival event has now reached maximum capacity and we are therefore unable to accept any further sign ups.

Pre-Arrival Event Timetable

Pre-Arrival Event Timetable (390 KB)

The pre-arrival events involve a timetable of information sessions, activities and tours to ensure that you know everything you need to know before you start your course at Keele. The timetable is designed to help you meet other students coming to Keele and relevant staff members as well as allowing you to explore the campus and find your way around.

Yes, we have a limited capacity for each of the events so you will need to fill out an online booking form to let us know if you would like to attend. The booking form will be available on each of the events webpages from 19th August 2019.

If you have not registered for the event before the day then it may not be possible for you to just show up to the event due to capacity. Therefore we advise you to complete the online booking form in order to guarantee your attendance as we have a maximum number of spaces available for each event. If you haven't been able to sign up, then please contact the Student Services Centre before making a journey to Keele as if we have reached capacity then we will not be able to exceed this.

Although you will get the most out of the event if you attend all of the timetabled sessions, we recognise that some people may have prior commitments that prevent them from staying for the whole attend. We just ask that you let a member of staff know if you need to leave early.

All you really need to bring is yourself, however it may be useful to bring along a pen and paper to take away any useful hints and tips you find out from the information sessions.

Parking permits are available on the day to any attendees who require parking. You will be able to collect one of these from a Student Ambassador on arrival or from the registration desk. Further information about parking arrangements for the events will be sent to you via email prior to the event.

We will have a team of Student Ambassadors available to meet and greet you as you arrive and to show you around throughout the day.

Unfortunately not, as due to capacity only new students to Keele will be able to take part in the events. We recommend that if someone is bringing you to the event that they make alternative arrangements whilst you attend the event.

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival at all events. There are a number of catering outlets and shops available on Keele Campus if you require any further refreshments throughout the day.
