Working after study
Once you finish your programme of study at Keele, you may be considering remaining in the UK to work and gain valuable experience. There are several immigration routes available to apply for, depending on whether you have secured an offer of employment, the employer, the area of work and other factors.
Immigration Compliance and Advice offer several workshops each year together with the Careers and Employability Team. These sessions include information on the immigration options as well as practical advice on job-seeking, recruitment techniques and promoting yourself to employers. Please visit the Careers web page to find out more and to see when the sessions are available.
More detailed information is available to current students on the Self-Service Portal, including information on the Graduate Route. There is also a wealth of information available on all of the post-study immigration routes on the UKCISA Working after studies web page.
Please note, arriving late for the start of your course may negatively affect your ability to be considered for the Graduate Route (Post Study Work Visa), if this is part of your plans, post successful completion of your course when it is eligible for this route.
