Vice-Chancellor's Forum, Thursday 12th May 2016 - Keele Graduates

The recent HE Green Paper ‘Fulfilling our Potential – Teaching Excellence, Social Mobility and Student Choice’ quotes that Higher Education should provide “degrees with lasting value” and deliver “graduates who are more work ready”.

The next Vice-Chancellor’s forum is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 12th May 2016 at 1:00pm in the Sneyd Room, Keele Hall and I would like to use this forum to explore how prepared Keele is to meet these challenges from government.

The full Green Paper can be accessed here:

The Vice-Chancellor’s forums have been established to help create room for debate of broad institutional issues involving a cross section of staff and students (where appropriate) from across the University. More information about the background to the Vice-Chancellor forumscan be found at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office section of the website:

The Vice-Chancellor’s forum on 12th May will take the form of a small group debate involving 15 – 18 people from across the University. Lunch will be provided.

If you would like to take part in the forum, could you please apply for a place by emailing Jen Paddison in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office at by Friday, 6th May 2016.

The invite to take part in the forum is extended to both staff and students.
