Dr Chris Manson Whitton

The Hydrogen Revolution

The Hydrogen heating revolution is here - and it all started at Keele University with the HyDeploy project - an Institute for Sustainable Futures Research collaboration.

Sister project HyNet is the UK’s leading industrial decarbonisation cluster, integrating carbon capture and storage with production, distribution, storage and end use of hydrogen at scale.

It’s aim - to deliver low carbon hydrogen from 2025 and by 2030 will save 10 million tonnes of carbon dioxide and deliver enough hydrogen to replace almost half of the region’s current natural gas demand.

With a Doctorate from Cambridge, Dr Chris Manson-Whitton is one of the UK’s leading figures in the hydrogen revolution.
