Lucy Whitehouse, Marketing and Business Management student

Keele offers a BA in Marketing and Business Management, which differs from other universities, who only offer a Bsc.  I wanted a course that was more literature based than mathematical, so it suited my skill set. I really enjoy my course as I have the freedom to choose elective modules from other business related degrees, such as: international business, accounting and HRM, or from other subjects, such as media and languages.
This flexibility has enabled me to cover a broad range of topics and has allowed me to develop and expand my skill set.
There are also lots of opportunities to get involved in extra curricular activities. This is not only great for your social life, but will also allow you to put the skills you have learned during your degree into practise. Employers look at the standard of degree you have achieved, but they also look at the effort you have made outside your studies too, so get involved in as many things as possible.
