Jacqueline Fradley - 2nd year History student

During my history degree I have had the opportunity to be part of classes at Stafford records office, looking at and analysing very old documents and even the Domesday book. I have also been able to work  on volunteer projects supported by the history department, such as  'Chase through Time' which explored the rich history of Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the 'Victorian County History Project' on Uttoxeter.  During my degree, I've also been able to enhance my employability skills by being able to study Russian (with no previous experience) and attend a summer school in Russia for a month. This is something I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do without the support of Keele and my tutor and it has now led me to consider taking an international year.
