Richard Bridgett, BSc Biology and Forensic Science

“I enjoyed my time as an undergraduate at Keele immensely. The variety of topics studied and skills acquired during the course are stimulating and diverse and it equips you well for various jobs after graduating.

After initially graduating I spent time working for the forensic investigations unit of Cheshire Police and for a global pharmaceutical company where I utilised the instrumental skills I acquired through study of chemical analysis.

I returned to Keele in 2011 to complete post-graduate research before joining Agilent Technologies as LCMS engineer in 2015. I have been in this role for almost three years now, and I provide remote and onsite technical and application support to LCMS users in various industries, including Forensics, Pharma, Defence, Environmental and Academic. Keele has a lot of Agilent equipment in the teaching labs and the hands-on experience with this while there greatly helped me in securing my current position.”
