Innovative Testing Solutions KRISP Project

The Company: Innovative Testing Solutions, Lichfield, Staffordshire. ITS deliver innovative, evidence based, high quality rapid diagnostic products, often referred to as “Point of Care”, to customers in the UK, Ireland and further afield.

The Project: ITS Ltd have developed an innovative alternative dipping stick product which is not made of plastic, thus drastically reducing the carbon footprint of testing kits.

The Outcome: The students mapped the associated carbon footprint at each stage of the product life-cycle (materials, transport, packaging and disposal) and produced an infographic that helped with the commercialisation of the new product.
