My MSc offered a mix of high-standard expert-delivered lectures, practical lab sessions and problem solving-based case studies.

Choosing to study my Master's in Biomedical Blood Science was one of the best decisions I felt I made at university. Coming from an undergraduate degree in biochemistry meant I had a good background and understanding of the field.

My master's degree built on the skills and knowledge I had gained during my undergrad, as well as providing a great insight into the specialised fields, modalities and disciplines of a hospital pathology department.

The course material was delivered by experienced lecturers and healthcare professionals from UHNM, who were all very insightful and knowledgeable about their fields. My MSc offered a mix of high-standard expert-delivered lectures, practical lab sessions and problem solving-based case studies.

I was lucky to be able to do my dissertation in conjunction with UHNM, an opportunity which helped network me build a reputation with the hospital. The contacts and skills I have gained from my MSc have helped me to find employment at UHNM as part of the imaging directorate, a job which I am thoroughly enjoying.

This course offers incredible opportunities and is an excellent step for those who desire to pursue careers in clinical or research-based biomedical science.
