Jess Hill, MSc in Child Development alumna

I joined the Child Development MSc course as an aspiring Educational Psychologist. I decided to take this step because I wanted a deeper understanding of psychological theory, while having the chance to practically apply what I was learning. Studying part-time allowed me to continue working as Teaching Assistant while completing the course over two years. I have found that I have been able to comfortably balance part-time work alongside completing modules for the course. While studying at Keele I have had freedom within each project to direct my research towards areas which will benefit my professional development. The Keele Lecturers have been very accommodating towards part-time students and I feel like I have been given every opportunity to be as involved as a full-time student. I am looking forward to my dissertation, which will look at mental health provision for children and young people within schools.
