Inclusive Pedagogic Research: May the Force Be With You

The Keele Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence is pleased to announce the next THiNK Seminar:

Inclusive Pedagogic Research: May the Force Be With You

Tuesday 29 June 2021, 1-2.30pm

Professor Sally Everett - Vice Dean (Education) and Professor of Business Education, King's College London

In an interactive and highly reflective session, Professor Everett will be exploring how we ensure our pedagogic research is truly inclusive and accessible. Sally will be addressing issues of how we reflect the diversity of our students in our research, how we ensure more voices are heard, and how we remove barriers to participation. Sally will encourage us to think about what we can do as researchers to use our privilege to challenge bias, disrupt assumptions, and make a positive difference for all.

Sally is a Professor in Business Education and Vice Dean Education at Kings College London, who has led significant work on the Race Equality Charter both there and in conjunction with Advance HE. She is a National Teaching Fellow, and is the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the Committee of the Association of National Teaching Fellows. She is also a highly engaging and interesting speaker.

This virtual seminar will take place in the KIITE - THiNK Network and Seminars Team in the channel Seminar - Prof Sally Everett (29-Jun-2021) at the scheduled date and time. Please join our team
