Staffordshire Women in Tech

Balance for Better

International Women's Day 2019

Keele Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence, along with Staffordshire Women in Tech are pleased to announce details of a special event arranged to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD).

The event will follow the IWD’s 2019 campaign theme of #BalanceforBetter and will specifically address the lack of gender diversity looking through the lens of women in technology.

The discussions will centre around the effects of tech's imbalance, diversity, inclusion, barriers to recruitment, progression and retention and will conclude by addressing practical ways to bring about changes that can be implemented in our daily lives.

Men, women and anyone who identifies as non-binary are welcome to attend the event.
