Midlands Service Children's Progression (SCiP) Alliance Hub

Keele is proud to be part of a brand new partnership hub of universities focused on bringing military families and education providers together, to improve educational outcomes for children from military families under the Service Children's Progression (SCiP) Alliance. By creating a support network and hosting regular free events, we aim to help children make informed and confident transitions through school, further and higher education into thriving adult lives and their careers. Our hub aims to work with individual families and schools in our local community facing unique challenges raising confidence and aspirations for the future.

On 7 January 2020, the Hub launched at Harper Adams University with an event where 100 children from Forces families found out what FE and HE can do to help these children with their future career paths that follow.
