Six weeks to go
Now that there's only six weeks to go before you begin your university experience at Keele, it's time to start ticking items off your to-do list.
The first thing you will need as a Keele student is access to your Keele IT account. We'll send you an email containing all the information you need to access your IT account.
Home student? Uploading your ID at this point is essential as we need to check your ID before you can enrol. We'll send you an email to prompt you to upload your ID on the University system. Please complete this process as soon as possible.
Overseas student? You will receive an email to begin your enrolment process. Please complete this process as soon as possible.
If you haven't already, make sure to submit your application to Student Finance and remember to regularly check your Student Finance portal for updates.

If you'll be living on campus or moving into the local area, you should ensure that your accommodation is confirmed with either the University, private student accommodation or private landlord.
As Keele will be your home away from home, our friendly Residence Life team will help you to settle in.
Once you've got access to your Keele IT account, you will be able to select your option or elective modules if these are required as part of your undergraduate degree course. Please note that you won't need to have completed your ID check before you can do this.
You won't need to do this if you are studying a postgraduate course, Medicine, Veterinary, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work or a Foundation Year.
For more information on how to choose your modules, please visit our choosing modules web page.
If you're an international student, you will receive an email to begin your enrolment process. Please complete this process as soon as possible. There are also some additional things that you will need to do:
- Apply for your Entry Clearance / Visa Extension
- Check to see if you require a TB test certificate
- Apply for your ATAS certificate (if stated on your visa and confirmation checklist)
- Check you have the correct level of finances
- Book your flight and Managed Hotel Quarantine if travelling to the UK from a country on the red travel list.
If you have any questions you can contact Student Services at email@example.com.
