Six weeks to go

Now that there's only six weeks to go before you begin your university experience at Keele, it's time to start ticking items off your to-do list.

The first thing you will need as a Keele student is access to your Keele IT account. We'll send you an email containing all the information you need to access your IT account.

Uploading your ID is essential as we need to check your ID before you can enrol. We'll send you an email to prompt you to upload your ID on the University system. Please complete this process as soon as possible.

For more information and further instructions on how to upload your ID, please visit our ID and enrolment web page.

Once you've got access to your Keele IT account, you will be able to select your option or elective modules if these are required as part of your undergraduate degree course. Please note that you won't need to have completed your ID check before you can do this.

You won't need to do this if you are studying a postgraduate course, Medicine, Veterinary, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work or a Foundation Year.

For more information on how to choose your modules, please visit our choosing modules web page.

If you'll be living on campus or moving into the local area, you should ensure that your accommodation is confirmed with either the University, private student accommodation or private landlord.

For more information please visit our accommodation web page.

If you're an international student, there are some additional things that you will need to do:

  • Apply for your Entry Clearance / Visa Extension
  • Check to see if you require a TB test certificate
  • Apply for your ATAS certificate (if stated on your visa and confirmation checklist)
  • Check you have the correct level of finances
  • Book your flight

If you have any questions you can contact the international student support team at student.services@keele.ac.uk.
