Five weeks to go

Please ensure all your vaccinations are up to date, including the MenACWY vaccination for first-time university entrants from the UK.

Please remember that all adults in England can now book their Covid-19 jab.

If you need any specific vaccines for your course, please contact your school if you have any questions.

If you'll be living on campus, you'll need to make your advance payment of £450 when you receive your accommodation offer (and at least two weeks before your arrival date).

If you have any queries, you can contact Accommodation Services at

Find out more about how to pay your advance payment and your accommodation fees on our money and finance page for undergraduates or postgraduates.

If you'll be moving to Keele or the local area, you will need to register for a local GP surgery. Keele Practice is located on campus. Please complete online pre-registration with the Practice in plenty of time.

Find out more about Keele Practice and find details of how to pre-register on the Keele Practice website.

In addition to the University's main social media accounts, we also have separate social media accounts for our current students called 'Life at Keele'. You can find Life at Keele on FacebookTwitter and Instagram (@LifeAtKeele) - this is a great way to get important updates and to find out more about student life at Keele.

If you're an international student, there are some additional things you'll need to do:

  • Arrange travel insurance
  • Arrange medical insurance and vaccinations
  • Arrange your compulsory Travel Test Package to complete your Covid-19 tests on day 2 and day 8 of quarantine if you are arriving from an Amber list country.
