Our Halls Reps work together for their own halls and put on events to help make everyone feel at home here at Keele. Think treasure hunts, film nights, and even a cake decorating competition - don't miss out! All the events run by the Halls Rep team are on the Keele App. We also have Sustainability Halls Reps, volunteers who champion University sustainability intiatives within their halls as well as running their own projects to encourage more environmentally-conscious behaviour!
We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to volunteer as part of a group of Halls Reps for each hall, and work alongside the Resident Advisers to give the ultimate halls experience. You will also help to champion your halls in the Halls Points competition to help win a prize for your hall at the end of the year.
There are two kinds of Halls Rep:
- Events Rep - organise events and activities, both virtual and in-person, for their halls
- Sustainability Rep - champion sustainability initatives for your halls of residence, helping the sustainability team to deliver key messages, and suggesting ways for halls to become more environmentally-conscious too.
Intro to the team
Hello, I'm Mel, Student Experience and Engagement Officer.
I look after the Halls Reps in Residence Life and I'm also a Keele graduate. When I'm not working, I spend my time reading, writing and and playing quidditch - it's a real sport, go check it out!
Like running events? Then why not become a Halls Rep yourself?
