Campus Life at Keele
"I thoroughly enjoy studying the Education course at Keele because it gives you a real insight into the education sector as a whole. I have had the opportunity to spend time in primary, secondary and special schools. This has been really beneficial as I have been able to put theoretical knowledge from the course into practice and have been able to see how politics are implemented in schools and the effects on both teachers and learners"
"I found the new Parliamentary Studies module to be interesting and helpful in furthering my understanding of how the British Parliament works. All the guest speakers were experts in their field and passionate about the topic they were explaining, which made the teaching experience even more interesting."
"The University's employer links have led me to working for Staffordshire Youth Commission in a voluntary capacity. I now speak to young people to discuss their thoughts around crime in the area, to feed back to the Staffordshire Police and Crime Commissioner"
"Studying Philosophy at Keele has helped me to develop a range of transferable skills such as critical thinking and problem solving which are essential to everyday life and business"
"My dissertation was one of the best projects I did during my time at Keele as I managed to include issues and topics from many of my modules. I produced a creative and unique piece of work that I was proud to present and happy to write. None of this would have been possible without my dissertation tutor who helped me, and kept me engaged and inspired"
