Biography
I graduated with a degree in Theoretical Physics from University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland in 2004, completed a taught MSc with dissertation in Mathematical Physics from UCD in 2005 and my PhD in 2009 on "Particle propagation in higher dimensional black bole space-times" at the Physics Department of the University of Alberta, Canada. After obtaining my PhD, I began teaching, and before arriving at Keele University I taught at a number of institutions in Canada and Ireland. Since arriving at Keele I have led a number of undergraduate modules, assisted with the establishment of the new single honours programmes in Physics and Physics with Astrophysics, and obtained Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
