Computing Seminar: Google on Campus

Each year, the School of Computing and Mathematics hosts seminars from a variety of researchers working on topics aligned with our research interests. These speakers are often leading experts invited by school staff. In Computing we have enjoyed subjects as diverse as Social Learning, Reservoir Computing, Perceptual Learning and Software Engineering and Design.

Time and Venue: Wednesday 28th Oct 2020, 3pm to 5pm, online via MS Teams, Keele University.

Talk details: Google runs the world's largest & arguably the most reliable network. This talk will cover what makes Google's network infrastructure scale, giving Google and its users compute and storage capabilities not available anywhere else. This will also cover virtual networking for Google cloud platform.
