Posted on 23 June 2010

Keele University has announced a series of open days at the Raven Mason collection of ironstone ceramics, which is housed in the 19th century Grade II listed Keele Hall.

The collection – the largest one of its kind on public display in the country – will be open on the following Tuesdays, between 10 am and 4 pm: 29 June; 27 July; 31 August; 28 September and 26 October. Admission is FREE.

It provides a rare opportunity to view the Raven Mason collection, which is largely made up of 19th and 20th Century pieces.

Curator Harry Frost, or an assistant, will be available to assist visitors with inquiries about the collection.
