Keele University is offering funded graduate placements over the summer.

Companies that have a project that could benefit from extra help over the summer can apply to Project FIT at Keele for graduate help.

“Do you have a project that could benefit your business but you don’t have time to do it? Do you need extra help over the summer?  Why not take a graduate on a placement for 4-8 weeks via Keele University?,” says  Lucy Challinor , organiser for the scheme.

“There’s no need to put the graduate on your company payroll as we pay them a bursary of £180 per week for working with you for 4 days each week.”

Project FIT is part funded, so the bulk of the costs are covered. The company contribution depends on the length of time the company wants to keep the graduate:

4 weeks is £200
5 weeks is £380
6 weeks is £560
For more weeks add £180 per week up to 8 weeks in total.

From just £200 a graduate could help you to:

• Market your organisation
• Work towards quality standards such as ISO 9001
• Explore overseas markets
• Develop new products or services
* Work on an IT project
