Keele Concert Band prepare for grand tour

Posted on 20 July 2010 Keele Concert Band is set to perform seven concerts in five countries as part of their 14th tour.
The student-run group, which was founded in 1984, will take in the UK, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Germany over eight days.
They will perform a light programme of marches and music from the musicals at St Andrew’s Church, in the Westlands, Newcastle, at 7.30pm on Friday, July 23, the night before they leave for Austria.
Conductor John Watson said: "This is set to be one of our best tours yet. A superb band and an adventurous programme of concerts. We're really looking forward the trip”
Tickets cost £6 (£4 concessions) and will be available on the door.
